Holographic appearance is not the same as security functionality

A visual holographic effect can be part of a sticker or label requirement, but appearance alone does not establish a particular authentication, anti-counterfeit or tamper-performance function.

DSP has an approved commercial Hologram Stickers service route. However, this guide does not claim that DSP provides certified security-hologram manufacturing, proprietary authentication technology, serialization or guaranteed anti-counterfeit performance unless those capabilities are separately verified.

When tamper evidence is the real requirement

If your goal is to show that a label, seal or closure has been interfered with, describe that requirement directly rather than assuming any holographic product provides it.

The actual tamper mechanism, material behavior and performance must be verified for the selected product. Adjacent tamper/warranty-label examples cannot be used as proof of genuine hologram manufacturing or authentication capability.

When authentication/security needs further confirmation

A requirement involving authentication, anti-counterfeit features, serialization or other security technology needs more than an appearance choice.

Before asking for a quote, define:

  • what the label must help verify or protect;
  • whether visible tamper evidence is required;
  • whether unique codes, serialization or another identity layer is required;
  • the application/surface;
  • quantity and dimensions;
  • artwork/branding requirements;
  • any current compliance/security requirement that applies to the actual use.

DSP's fit should then be confirmed against the specific security function rather than inferred from the word “hologram.”

What DSP can discuss now

For a physical Hologram Sticker enquiry, send:

  • quantity;
  • size;
  • application/use;
  • artwork status;
  • desired holographic visual requirement;
  • target date;
  • Dubai/UAE delivery location;
  • any security/tamper/authentication function you expect.

If the required function exceeds DSP's currently verified scope, the correct outcome may be further confirmation rather than a forced sale.

Proof must match the claim
