1. Start with the job the sticker needs to do
Write down the practical purpose first.
For example, is the sticker for:
- product or packaging identification;
- branding or logo use;
- a promotion or campaign;
- a window, wall, floor or other surface;
- a vehicle or managed branding project;
- a QR code or printed code;
- a label applied by hand or supplied on rolls;
- another clearly defined application?
This matters because different applications can belong to different service routes even when all of them are called “custom stickers.”
If the requirement is already specific, go directly to the relevant service rather than forcing everything through a generic sticker specification.
2. Identify the real application surface
Tell us what the sticker will be applied to.
Useful details may include:
- packaging, bottle, jar, box, pouch or container;
- glass or a shop window;
- wall or interior surface;
- vehicle panel;
- floor;
- paper/card;
- another product or surface.
If the surface is unusual, curved, textured, exposed to handling or subject to a specific environmental condition, include that context in the brief.
Do not assume a material is suitable only because a general article calls it “outdoor,” “waterproof,” “removable” or “permanent.” The actual construction and job conditions still need to be confirmed.
3. Give the size—or the space the sticker has to fit
If the final size is known, include it.
If it is not known, give the available application area and the real object/surface the sticker must fit. A photo with a simple measurement can often be more useful than guessing a standard size.
For packaging, measure the actual usable area rather than only the overall container dimensions.

4. Estimate the quantity realistically
Give the quantity you expect to order, or a useful range if the number is still being finalized.
If several designs or variants are involved, separate them clearly. For example:
- total quantity;
- number of designs/variants;
- quantity per design;
- whether all variants use the same size and specification.
This gives the printer a more useful basis for quotation than a request such as “price for stickers” with no quantity or split.
5. Explain the artwork status
A simple artwork status saves unnecessary back-and-forth.
Tell us whether you have:
- final print-ready artwork;
- editable artwork that may need checking;
- a logo/design but not a finished sticker layout;
- an existing sticker that needs revision;
- only the basic information/idea so far.
Dubai Sticker Printing can manage design/artwork, revisions and redesigning where required as part of a managed print project. Final scope depends on what is actually needed for the job.
6. Describe the conditions that matter
Only include conditions that are relevant to the real use.
Examples can include:
- indoor or outdoor use;
- repeated handling;
- moisture or condensation;
- chilled/frozen storage;
- heat exposure;
- removability requirements;
- a fixed installation or campaign date;
- roll-supply or equipment-related requirements supplied by your workflow.
These are inputs for specification. They are not universal promises about a particular material, adhesive or lifespan.
7. Give the Abu Dhabi delivery location
Include the delivery area/location in Abu Dhabi or elsewhere in the UAE.
This helps the quotation and delivery plan use the actual destination. It does not require the website to claim a local Abu Dhabi branch or storefront.
If the project also needs an arranged meeting, site discussion or installation planning, state that separately so the requirement can be reviewed in context.
8. State the target date—but keep timing conditional
If your order is tied to an opening, campaign, event, installation or another fixed date, include it early.
The target date is an important planning input. It is not the same as a guaranteed production or delivery time.
For genuinely urgent work, availability depends on the quantity, specification, artwork readiness and current production conditions.

9. Route the requirement to the right service
A broad custom-sticker brief may eventually belong to a narrower service owner.
Examples:
- Vinyl Stickers: Vinyl Sticker Printing
- Labels / Product Labels: Label & Product Label Printing
- QR Code Stickers: QR Code Stickers
- Window & Glass: Window & Glass Graphics
- Wall Graphics: Commercial Wall Graphics
- Floor Stickers: Floor Graphics
- Vehicle Branding: Car & Vehicle Branding
If you do not know which route fits, send the application details first. The goal is to identify the right requirement—not make you choose from terminology you do not use every day.
Abu Dhabi custom-sticker quote checklist
Before sending your enquiry, gather what you can:
- sticker/application purpose;
- application surface;
- size or available area;
- quantity and variant split;
- artwork status;
- relevant handling/exposure conditions;
- supply format if known;
- target date;
- Abu Dhabi/UAE delivery location;
- photos or reference files where useful.
Unknown material or finish? Write not sure and describe the use instead.
Request the next useful step
Once the brief is clear enough, send it for specification and quotation.
