1. Decide what the QR sticker is for

Start with the real application rather than the technology label.

For example, the printed QR may appear on:

  • product or packaging labels;
  • menus or informational material;
  • promotional stickers;
  • operational labels;
  • another physical surface or item.

Describe the use, surface/product/container and where the sticker will be applied. That gives the physical print requirement context.

2. Identify who controls the QR destination

Before printing, know what the code is meant to point to and who is responsible for that destination.

Useful questions are:

  • Is the final QR graphic/code already available?
  • Is the destination already final?
  • Who owns and maintains that destination?
  • Is one repeated code required or are there multiple different codes?
  • Does another platform/system impose a technical requirement that the printed item must follow?

DSP can work from supplied QR artwork/code as part of the physical print job. This page does not claim destination hosting, QR platform administration or analytics management.

3. Keep the digital system separate from the sticker quote

The physical sticker service does not automatically include:

  • dynamic QR management;
  • destination hosting;
  • analytics or tracking dashboards;
  • payment-system setup;
  • subscription QR platforms;
  • data collection systems;
  • scanner configuration;
  • NFC encoding;
  • WMS/ERP/Auto-ID integration.

If your project uses one of those systems, provide its current approved print/code requirements. DSP can assess the physical label/sticker against the supplied requirement without claiming ownership of the external system.

4. Define the physical print requirement

For a useful print discussion, provide:

  • sticker/label dimensions if known;
  • quantity;
  • application surface/product/container;
  • artwork status;
  • QR graphic/code status;
  • number of different code versions, if relevant;
  • material/finish if already specified—or ask for help choosing the physical route;
  • target date;
  • UAE delivery location.

If the wider job is primarily a product/packaging label that happens to include a QR code, the broad Labels service may be the better starting owner.

5. Do not rely on a universal QR size or scan promise

Readability can depend on the actual code, artwork, physical size, print conditions, surface/application, viewing/scanning conditions and any external technical requirement.

This guide therefore does not publish a universal:

  • minimum QR size;
  • DPI rule;
  • scan distance;
  • contrast formula;
  • quiet-zone specification;
  • guaranteed scan result.

If one of those technical requirements matters, use the current requirement from the responsible system/technical source and verify it against the actual job before production.

6. Test the final digital destination before production

A printed sticker cannot correct a wrong or unfinished destination after the fact.

Before approving the print file, the buyer or responsible digital-system owner should confirm that the supplied QR code points where intended and that the destination itself is ready for the intended use.

That is a project-control step, not a claim that DSP provides QR software validation or guarantees scan performance.

7. Artwork can still be supported

If the QR graphic is available but the surrounding sticker artwork needs preparation, revision or redesign, Dubai Sticker Printing can support the design/artwork side where required.

Keep the final QR graphic/code and any externally controlled technical requirements clearly identified during artwork preparation so the physical design work does not silently change the digital destination.

8. The printed QR service owns the commercial task

This guide helps you prepare the physical/digital handoff.

Do not turn this guide into a QR software, NFC or barcode-system service page.

  • destination owner/status;
  • size;
  • quantity;
  • number of code versions if relevant;
  • artwork status;
  • any externally supplied technical requirement;
  • target date;
  • UAE delivery location.
