1. Describe what the stickers are for

Start with the use case.

Examples can include:

  • product or equipment identification;
  • promotional or campaign stickers;
  • branding on a smooth surface;
  • temporary event/application use;
  • a longer-term fixed application;
  • another clearly defined requirement.

If the job is actually a managed Window, Wall, Floor, Office or Vehicle graphics project, use the corresponding service route instead of forcing it into a generic vinyl-sticker order.

2. Identify the real application surface

Tell the printer what the sticker will be applied to and send a photo where that helps.

Useful details include:

  • surface/material if known;
  • flat, curved, textured or irregular geometry;
  • whether the surface is painted/coated;
  • whether the item is frequently handled, moved or cleaned;
  • whether an existing sticker/coating must be considered.

Do not assume that one adhesive or material behaves the same way on every surface.

3. State the use conditions that matter

If the application is outdoors or exposed to demanding conditions, describe those conditions rather than relying on a generic “outdoor vinyl” label.

Relevant context may include:

  • indoor/outdoor use;
  • direct sun or sheltered placement;
  • moisture/condensation/cleaning exposure;
  • repeated handling;
  • temporary versus longer-term use;
  • any other environmental condition important to the application.

This information defines what the supplier needs to assess. It does not create a universal performance promise.

4. Include size and quantity

Give the finished dimensions and quantity if known.

If size is still being decided, provide the available application area or a photo/sketch with measurements. If quantity is approximate, say so and identify what is still being confirmed.

Avoid using another company's quantity threshold, MOQ or price break as if it were DSP's policy.

5. Be clear about artwork status

State whether the artwork is:

  • ready to print;
  • ready but may need adjustment;
  • needs design/revisions;
  • not started.

Dubai Sticker Printing can support design/artwork, revisions and redesigning where required, but this page does not publish universal DPI, colour-mode, bleed or file-format rules that have not been confirmed for the actual DSP workflow/job.

6. Decide whether application or installation support is relevant

Many ordinary sticker orders may only need printing and delivery. Other physical graphics projects can require coordinated installation.

If installation is required, state:

  • project/application location;
  • surface/context;
  • approximate dimensions/count;
  • access or timing constraints you already know;
  • target date.

Installation should be scoped because the job requires it—not added automatically to every sticker order.

7. If a permit, approval or site rule applies, bring the current requirement into the brief

Do not rely on a generic printer article for legal or permit advice.

If your vehicle, venue, landlord, mall, building, public display or other application requires an approval, permit, artwork rule or installation condition, identify the responsible authority/site and bring the current approved requirement into the project brief.

This checklist intentionally does not publish fixed Abu Dhabi/UAE fines, permit processes or eligibility rules because those can depend on the application and current authority requirements.

8. Add the Abu Dhabi delivery/project details

Dubai Sticker Printing serves customers across the UAE, with Dubai as its priority market.

For an Abu Dhabi requirement, include:

  • delivery or project area;
  • target date;
  • whether physical installation is involved;
  • any access or handover constraint that changes the job.

This is a service-area model. It is not a claim that DSP operates a public Abu Dhabi branch or storefront.

9. Questions worth resolving before comparing quotes

A useful comparison should make sure each quote is responding to the same requirement.

Check whether you have communicated:

  • application/use;
  • surface;
  • indoor/outdoor/exposure conditions;
  • finished size;
  • quantity;
  • artwork status;
  • desired finish/appearance if known;
  • temporary/removable requirement if relevant;
  • installation requirement if relevant;
  • target date;
  • Abu Dhabi delivery/project location.

If one supplier has assumed a specification and another has quoted a different one, the prices are not necessarily comparing the same job.
